This plate 9" from Adams & Son has a wide 2" floral gold pattern around the rim. It may have been issued in a Limited Edition since the number 1657 is on the back. Famous Shortbread tin, created for the 90th birthday of the world's
favorite grandmother, Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth, The Queen Mother.
Tin is 9" X 11" X 3"1 /2" The lid and overall
tin is royal blue with a portrait of the Queen Mother wearing
her famous lace gown, her diamond tiara, holding her fan in her
lap and seated in an elaborate setting inside a gold leaf frame
as if in a portrait. Glamis Castle on two sides of tin with royal
coat of arms on each end. Bottom of tin has a brief history of
the Queen Mother, Glamis Castle and Walker's Shortbread. These
