Nicholas & Alexandra, The Last Imperial Family of Tsarist
Russia. From the State Hermitage Museum and the State Archive
of the Russian Federation. Published in 1998. This book was published
in a limited number. This book presents the final chapter of tsarist
Russia as it has never been told before. This magnificent 400+
volume draws on a wealth of previously never before published
material to tell the tragic story of the last of the Romanovs
as it has never been told before. With more than 630 irreplaceable
works of art, costumes, photograph, private and state documents,
and drawing from Nicholas and Alexandra's own personal letters
and diaries, it reveals their luxurious world and loving family
life -- and the horrors of their final years - in moving and compelling
detail. This book has never before seen pictures of the Winter
Palace, the uniform Nicholas wore at his wedding, the gilded carriage
in which Alexandra rode to the Coronation, ball gowns worn by
Alexandra and her daughters and so much more. There are pictures
of their daughter toys, paintings, icons and gifts from the Tsar
to Alexandra including Imperial Easter Eggs from Faberge. This
oversize 10"X12 1/2", coffee
table book is the best I have seen on Nicholas and Alexandra.

JUST
ARRIVED Dearest
Child, Letters between Queen Victoria and the Princess Royal 1858-1861
- Previously unpublished. 1964, First
published in the US 1965.When Queen Victoria's eldest daughter
married Prince Frederick of Prussia in 1858, mother and daughter
began a correspondence which , in its intimacy, its spontaneity,
and its candor obliterates some of our most cherished convictions
about Victorian prudishness and inhibitions. To quote the Queen,
On the night before the Princess marriage: "I can't say what
I suffered - what struggles I had that last night when we took
you to your room, and you cried so much, I said to Papa as we
came back "after all, it is like taking a poor lamb to be
sacrificed'. You now know -what I meant, dear. I know that God
has willed it so and that these are the trials which we poor women
must go through,' no father, no man can feel this". End of
quote. A really wonderful read. I go a better understanding of
Victoria after this book. Originally

Camilla and Charles-The Love Story By
Caroline Graham : Caroline
Graham is one of Britain's most successful writers and journalists.
She is a highly respected royal commentator who was the youngest
Woman's Editor at the Sun, where she earned her reputation as
a formidable investigative reported and established unrivaled
royal contacts. She is now the US Correspondent for the Mail on
Sunday. The first-and most revealing-book to be published covering
the wedding of Prince Charles and Camilla Parker Bowles*** The intense love between
Prince Charles and Camilla Parker Bowles has spanned decades.
It is a tale that has reached almost Shakespearian heights of
passion, misery and betrayal. Now, they have made history by announcing
their plans to marry, thrusting them back into the spotlight once
more. This sensational biography reveals everything about their
relationship, their decision to marry and the impact that the
event will have on the establishment and the public. It examines
how they were kept apart by the Royal family and how Charles love
for Camilla throughout his marriage to Diana led to the press
casting her as the villain of the piece when the marriage ended.
Caroline Graham has spoken to sources very close to the couple
to uncover one of the most controversial relationships of our
time. We do not have this book in

7098 PEOPLE WEEKLY, THE DIANA YEARS Commemorative
Edition Celebrating The Unique Magic Of The Princess Of Wales.
In this incomparable collection of photographs
- the most striking and significant from Diana's 17 years in the
public eye - People brings fresh perspective and detail to the
story of the young woman who rekindled the world's love affair
with royalty and then tragically left us too soon. From that unforgettable
early shot in the diaphanous dress, she was on her way to becoming
the most photographed woman in history. Before our eyes, she transformed
herself from sweet-faced novice to style-setting knockout. She
brought her great heart and intuitive flair to charity work and
motherhood even as she suffered the painful disintegration of
her marriage. In this 160-page special album, updated and expanded
after her death, People documents Diana's amazing and bountiful
life. This hard cover coffee
table style book is a must for any Diana collector. $10.95 U.S. Order

BODYGUARD'S STORY ,Diana, the Crash,
and the Sole Survivor by Trevor Rees-Jones with Moira Johnston.
Of all the books written on the late Princess Diana, I found this
to be the most touching . It is an accurate and often, painfully
sad account of the crash and her death. Where were you when Diana
Died? For Trevor Rees-Jones the answer is simple, he was in the
same hospital as Diana, fighting for his own life a few doors
away. Retail $25.95
